Since 1990 Glamour has been shining a light on women who have taken charge and spoke out. This year’s honorees are no different, the 2025 class includes six extraordinary women who are trailblazers that aren’t just breaking records, they are rewriting the rules for women. The 2025 Glamour Women of the Year Awards brought elegance and inspiration to The Plaza Hotel in New York City on November 4, 2025.
Glamour’s Women of the Year honorees are chosen through a combination of editorial research, nominations, and cultural impact review by Glamour’s editorial team. The process focuses on recognizing women who have made extraordinary contributions across industries such as entertainment, activism, business, sports, politics, science, and beyond while embodying the values of leadership, authenticity, and influence.
Let’s meet this year’s Glamour Women of the Year!

Tyla
At just 23, South Africa’s Tyla has exploded onto the global music scene with her signature fusion of amapiano, gqom, and pop, a sound that refuses to be boxed in. Her creativity and fearlessness have made her one of the most influential young artists of her generation. “There’s no right way to do anything creative,” she says and her meteoric rise proves it. Tyla isn’t just redefining music, she’s redefining what global artistry looks and sounds like for women everywhere.
Demi Moore

A Hollywood icon having “her year” at 62, Demi Moore is experiencing a renaissance. Her award-winning performance in The Substance has sparked conversations around body image, aging, and self-worth in Hollywood, topics often ignored in an industry obsessed with youth. Glamour celebrated her not just as a legend, but as a woman rewriting her own narrative.

Rachel Accurso (aka Ms. Rachel)
As a former preschool teacher and a parent frustrated by the lack of educational resources for children with developmental delays like her son, Rachel Accurso, known as Ms. Rachel began creating slow-paced, interactive videos that focused on language development. Rachel soon became an early-childhood media pioneer by creating empathetic, accessible, and joyful learning spaces for millions of kids. Beyond her screen presence, she’s using her platform to advocate for parental mental health, representation in media, and kindness as a leadership tool.
Pat McGrath

A beauty industry legend who turned her backstage magic into a global brand, Pat McGrath continues to shape how the world sees beauty. This year marks the 10-year anniversary of Pat McGrath Labs, a brand built from her artistry. McGrath’s recognition by Glamour honors not just her innovation in makeup but her legacy of transforming an industry still learning how to see women of color in full color.

Rachel Zegler
From West Side Story to a fearless portrayal of Eva Perón in a reimagined Evita, Rachel Zegler is redefining Hollywood’s narrative of what a leading woman looks like. She’s not just a performer, she’s an advocate for inclusivity and authenticity in storytelling. Her evolution reflects every young woman finding her voice, refusing to let others define her worth.
WNBA

For the first time, Glamour honored an organization instead of an individual, the powerhouse women of the WNBA. The players of the WNBA are honored this year as a collective force who are changing the game literally and culturally. With record-breaking viewership, expanding franchises, and players leading movements on and off the court, the league has become a global symbol of women’s excellence in sport. The message is clear: women’s sports aren’t a side story, they are the main event.
The 2025 Women of the Year list isn’t about glamour for its own sake, it’s about visibility with purpose, impact that inspires, and leadership that breaks every assumption. When Tyla moves across continents with her sound. When Demi Moore redefines mid-life. When Ms. Rachel champions early education and wellness. When Pat McGrath shifts global beauty paradigms. When Rachel Zegler writes her own narrative. And when the WNBA lifts a movement, it’s clear: Women aren’t waiting for permission. They’re leading. They’re reshaping culture.
