Every Halloween when Heidi Klum steps onto the red carpet, it’s not just a costume, it’s a creative statement. This year, at her 24th annual “Heidiween” party, with dozens of celebrity guests in attendance, Heidi Klum’s 10-hour transformation left her completely unrecognizable. Klum transformed into the mythic Medusa, complete with green-scaled skin, a crown of writhing snakes, and a presence that was fierce and wholly unapologetic.
For more than two decades, Klum has been rewriting the rulebook for Halloween. She once arrived encased in a life‑sized worm; she’s shown up as a multilimbed goddess, a Transformer, and now a monster goddess crafted in full mythic couture. Every detail of this costume from the mechanical snakes to the hours-long makeup session speaks to vision and Klum’s love of Halloween.
Klum told Vogue: “Medusa stood out to me as truly iconic – mysterious yet ferocious.” And went on to say: “So I wanted to be really, really like a really ugly, ugly Medusa… And I feel like we nailed it – to the teeth.”
Heidi Klum has been a longtime supporter and ambassador for UNICEF, lending her "Queen of Halloween" image to promote the campaign which encourages families to raise donations for children in need worldwide. The 2025 campaign specifically celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF tradition. What started as a niche celebrity party has become a cultural moment. Klum’s annual Halloween bash isn’t just about the costume, it’s a platform for creativity, transformation and community.
Guests at the star-studded event included Darren Criss as Shrek, Maye Musk channeling Cruella de Vil, Ariana Madix embodying Lady Gaga, and Tom Kaulitz, Klum’s husband, accompanied her as a man turned to stone. Olympic rugby player Ilona Maher brought a playful touch as Barbie, while Coco Austin went full horror as Chucky, paired with her “Law & Order: SVU” husband Ice-T who dressed as in a Squid Games-meets-serial killer ensemble. Nostalgia hit with Jett and Campbell "Pookie" Puckett dressing up as Elvis Presley with Priscilla by his side, and Rei Ami from KPop Demon Hunters went meta, dressing as her own character from the Netflix hit Zoey.
From jaw-dropping transformations to imaginative duos, Klum’s party reminded everyone why it remains a cultural touchstone of creativity, spectacle, and charitable impact. We can’t wait for next year’s 25th annual celebration, promising even more unforgettable costumes and Halloween fun.
