Are You Ready For It? New Taylor Swift Album Coming for Fall

Oh Taylor Swift, you have done it again. After finishing her record-breaking Eras Tour last December, Taylor Swift has stayed relatively quiet. She pops up in occasional Backgrid paparazzi photos going out to dinner with her "guy on the Chiefs," Travis Kelce and has even been officially posted to the Tight End's Instagram grid in a carousel post with...you guessed it: 13 photos.
Every time Swift steps outside there are hoards of Swifties picking apart every word, accessory, and finger twitch, hoping to find an easter egg hinting at a new album. And while some get caught up each time she appears hopping out of a Black Escalade, others have been biding their time for a reveal ever since she walked through that orange door closing out the last show of the Eras Tour. Commence Chaos.

On August 11, Taylor Nation and the Kelce brothers New Heights podcast basically broke Instagram when they posted some not-so-cryptic photos about a super special upcoming guest on the first New Heights podcast after their summer hiatus. Of course, the Swifties were sent into a spiral, further magnified by the countdown clock that appeared on top of an orange sparkly background on taylorswift.com ending at 12am on August 12th.
Lo and behold, when the countdown ended we were rewarded with a website crash and finally a page with the new album "The Life of a Showgirl." Swift later revealed the full album artwork and track list on the two hour long podcast episode of New Heights where she spoke of the beginning her relationship with Travis, how she developed the theme of her new album, and most importantly: bread.
The podcast was a rare treat for Swift fans, sitting in on a basically uninterrupted conversation with her boyfriend and possibly-future-brother-in-law. Ever since Swift's fame skyrocketed to insurmountable levels during COVID times, she has been more than private.

This new Travis Kelce era is feeding us and I'm so glad Taylor Swift is finally with someone who lets her shine and is loud and proud about being with her. The podcast episode proved that you are never too much for the right person.
"The Life of a Showgirl" releases on October 3rd and you can pre-save the 12-track album now on Spotify.
